Dental crowns are tooth-shaped caps that cover a damaged or weakened tooth, restoring strength, shape, and appearance. They are typically made of porcelain, ceramic, zirconia, gold, or porcelain-fused-to-metal. After removing decay and reshaping the tooth, an impression or digital scan is taken so the laboratory can fabricate a precise crown. The result is a stable foundation that protects the underlying tooth structure for years.

When one or more teeth are missing, a dental bridge offers an effective fixed teeth replacement. A bridge consists of artificial teeth (pontics) fused to crowns on either side, which are cemented to the natural teeth or implants surrounding the gap. This restores chewing efficiency, prevents drifting of adjacent teeth, and reduces risk of bite imbalance, gum recession, and decay caused by trapped food in the gap.
